SAN DIEGO: The preschool channel Happykids.tv has picked up the first season of the animated series YooHoo & Friends.

The series will be available across Happykids.tv’s various platforms, among them Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung and Sony. YooHoo & Friends is based on a range of collectible plush toys created by Aurora World. The brand is comprised of other licensed goods, including stationery, apparel, bedding and books, featuring rare or endangered animals from around the world. It is focused on global conservation trends and being “green.” The agreement was signed by Lawless Entertainment.

“The eco-friendly concept and its message of encouraging kids to help preserve nature and animals are the keys to the success for YooHoo & Friends,” said Young Jin Lee, the VP of Aurora World. “We are delighted to make a partnership with Future Today to gain more exposure via a variety of platforms, and believe these ecological values and assets will make YooHoo & Friends evergreen.”

"We are excited to be working with the team at Aurora World to bring Yoohoo & Friends to platforms such as Roku, Fire TV and Apple TV,” commented Vikrant Mathur, co-founder of Future Today. “We are always looking for content that not just entertains but also educates the young minds, and Yoohoo & Friends seems to have found the perfect balance."

YooHoo & Friends is a unique brand that entertains children as well teaches them the importance of protecting the environment so that their favorite animals can flourish,” added Cathy Malatesta, the president of Lawless Entertainment. “We are thrilled with the addition of this series to the Happkids.tv channel.”
