Global Galactics Preps Multiplatform Universe for Kids

Global Galactics, a brand-new kids’ entertainment company, is preparing to launch SparkStar, a multiplatform universe for kids aged 5 to 9.

The brand, created by a team of parents, educators and storytellers, is intended to help develop a sense of curiosity in kids. Global Galactics is working with Kids Industries and Beacon Communications for the launch of the new IP, which is set to include a YouTube channel, a series and more.

“At Global Galactics, we believe awe is a superpower,” said Timothy Karsten, co-founder and CEO. “ We’re creating stories that help kids feel wonder again—to ask questions, dream big and see themselves as part of something greater.”

Kids Industries will oversee global brand strategy, positioning and audience development, while Beacon Communications will lead integrated communications.

Karinna Karsten, co-founder of Global Galactics, noted, “With Beacon and Kids Industries on board, we’re set up for an extraordinary launch. Their expertise lets us build a world that truly reflects our mission—sparking awe, discovery, and connection in kids everywhere.”

SparkStar plans to encompass a new YouTube channel and content series, books, music, podcasts, social media and more.

Gary Pope, CEO and co-founder of Kids Industries, added, “Curiosity is a defining force in childhood—and Global Galactics gets that. This generation expects more from their media and so stories like these really matter—they inspire, they motivate and they ready children to explore the marvelous world around them.”

“We’re proud to bring our expertise to support a mission that celebrates childlike wonder in such a fresh and meaningful way,” said Donna MacNeil, president of Beacon Communications. “Global Galactics spark big conversations through stories that are engaging, age-appropriate, and fun, and we’re excited to help share that discovery with families everywhere.”
