Global Galactics to Launch YouTube Channel

The kids’ entertainment company Global Galactics is set to launch an official YouTube channel to bring the world of its books onto the screen on August 11.

Anchored by SparkStar, a galactic pup, the YouTube channel will feature animation, live-action and narrative storytelling. YouTube Shorts will provide bursts of “did you know?” moments to introduce fun facts.

Additionally, a weekly audio-video hybrid where SparkStar travels across the universe to uncover Earth’s jaw-dropping places, creatures and mysteries will release via YouTube Podcasts.

When it launches on August 11, a library of SparkStar’s Audio AWEventures episodes, live-action shorts and sing-along songs will drop. New content will premiere weekly across all formats.

“Global Galactics isn’t just building shows—we’re creating a world kids can truly live in,” said Houston Howard, transmedia expert and creative director of Global Galactics. “We’re weaving books, music, live action, animation, audio and challenges into one interconnected narrative universe. Every video, every story, every song connects to something bigger—helping kids see themselves as curious explorers in a vast, wonder-filled cosmos.”

Timothy Karsten, co-founder of Global Galactics, commented, “The real Sparky, our beloved Jack Russell Terrier and the inspiration for the brand, showed kids what it meant to embrace curiosity, kindness and resilience. We want our content ecosystem to carry on that legacy—inspiring exploration, compassion and a belief in the power of connection that transcends screens and stories.”

“For kids who love to look up at the stars, look around with wonder and look within for big ideas, our new YouTube channel gives them a place to keep exploring the universe of SparkStar,” added Karinna Karsten, co-founder of Global Galactics. “We’re building a world kids can return to again and again—whether they’re learning, laughing or just taking a moment to feel awe.”
