FilmRise has signed a deal for 184 episodes of children’s programming for its FilmRise Streaming Network from 9 Story Distribution International.

The deal includes a non-exclusive license for seasons 10 through 14 of Barney and Friends. The adventures of the titular anthropomorphic dinosaur will be available to stream on FilmRise’s AVOD.

The deal also includes the first four seasons of the British animated children’s series Angelina Ballerina, following Angelina Mouseling as she trains to be a ballerina, and the first three seasons of Camp Lakebottom, centering on 12-year-old McGee’s adventures when he gets on the wrong summer camp bus and ends up at Camp Lakebottom.

Danny Fisher, CEO of FilmRise, said: “These popular children’s programs fit perfectly into our strategy of increasing our market share within the children’s/family space. Audiences have an enduring appetite for these established, recognizable family-friendly TV series for kids, and we are pleased to offer them to new generations of children with no fee to their parents.”
