Dr. Seuss Enterprises Ups Susan Brandt

Susan Brandt, who has been president of Dr. Seuss Enterprises for more than two decades, has been promoted to CEO.

In her new role as both president and CEO, Brandt will continue to lead the company’s entertainment property and oversee worldwide operations. Under her leadership, the Dr. Seuss brand has expanded from books to include films, TV, stage productions, theme parks, digital games and more.

Brandt’s recent deals for the company’s portfolio include a three-part movie deal with Warner Animation Group, the launch of the first-ever NFT experience for Dr. Seuss with Dapper Labs and conceiving the idea for the traveling exhibition The Dr. Seuss Experience with Kilburn Live. She also worked closely with Netflix on Green Eggs and Ham and with PBS on The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! In 2021, the company broke revenue records.
