pocket.watch Taps New Head of Products Licensing

pocket.watch has appointed Manuel Torres Port as global head of consumer products licensing.

Torres Port will oversee all consumer products licensing for pocket.watch brands, focused on the growth of each franchise and the launch of new ones. He will help the company navigate new markets, with an eye toward international expansion.

Torres Port brings nearly three decades of experience to the role, having worked at companies such as Mattel, Nickelodeon, NBCUniversal and Zag Entertainment. His deals have contributed more than $1 billion in net royalties throughout his career.

While at Zag Entertainment, Torres Port was instrumental in the consolidation of key strategic global deals for its top IP, including Miraculous LadyBug. At NBCUniversal, Torres Port oversaw the Consumer Products global portfolio of franchises, including Illumination Entertainment Animation’s Minions, The Secret Life of Pets and SingJurassic World; Fast & Furious; Monsters; Trolls; Spirit; Curious George; and more.

At pocket.watch, Torres Port will report to Xavier Kochhar, COO/CFO.
