Disney Channel Original The Swap Set for Fall Debut

BURBANK: This October, Disney Channel is slated to premiere the original comedy adventure movie The Swap as part of its Halloween-themed Monstober programming event.

The Swap is about two teens on a mission to reverse a mysterious event that caused them to switch lives. The movie, which is based on a book by Megan Shull, stars Peyton List (BUNK’D) and Jacob Bertrand (Kirby Buckets). It will debut on Friday, October 7, at 8 p.m. across Disney Channel’s multiple platforms, including the linear network, the app and VOD.

The Swap was penned by Charlie Shahnaian (The Redemption of Henry Myers) and Shari Simpson (Sweet Sweet Summertime). It is executive produced by Fernando Szew, Robyn Snyder and Gaylyn Fraiche of MarVista Entertainment; Kim Todd and Nicholas Hirst for Original Pictures; and Sean McNamara. Ric Nish serves as producer.
