Canadian Premiere Set for New Monster High Series

The new comedy-adventure series Monster High, based on the popular Mattel brand, is set to debut in Canada on YTV on October 29.

The show follows the teenage children of famous monsters as they discover who they are, embrace their differences and learn to be fierce and fearless. In addition to airing on YTV, it will stream live and on-demand on STACKTV.

The main voice cast includes Gabrielle Nevaeh Green, Courtney Lin, Iris Menas, Tony Revolori, Kausar Mohammed, Valeria Rodriguez, Alexa Kahn, Alexander Polinsky and Debra Wilson. Recently announced members of the cast are Ken Marino (Reno 911!), Felicia Day (Mystery Science Theater 3000), Valeria Rodriquez (The Valley of Tears), Scott Menville (Teen Titans Go!), Cole Massie (Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers), Victoria T Washington (Dropouts), Jordan R. Coleman (A Million Little Things) and Krystina Alabado (Sesame Street Mecha Builders).

Shea Fontana (Polly Pocket) serves as showrunner and co-executive producer of Monster High, with Nick Filippi (Big Hero 6: The Series) as supervising producer.

In addition to the animated series, a live-action television movie musical based on the franchise is slated to debut on October 7 on YTV.
