CAKE has inked a deal with BBC for six series of Fresh TV’s award-winning Total Drama franchise, including the new Total Drama Island.

Set to debut on CBBC and BBC iPlayer, Total Drama Island introduces an updated cast of quirky teen contestants who face hardcore competition, brutal eliminations and more drama than ever before.

The deal includes a total of 182 episodes of library content, which includes the seventh season from the franchise, Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race, already available on BBC iPlayer, as well as three seasons of the Total Dramarama prequel, aimed at children 6 to 11 and set in a daycare.

Total Drama was created by Tom McGillis and Jennifer Pertsch and is produced by Canadian producer Fresh TV. CAKE distributes the franchise internationally.
