Bluey Live Stage Show Heading to Canada

Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show, a live theater show based on an original new story from Bluey creator Joe Brumm that is currently touring in the U.S., will be heading to Canada this winter.

The stage show will kick off its Canadian tour in Thunder Bay, Ontario, on December 8, before moving on to cities across the country, including Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton and Toronto. Additional tour stops are planned.

The 24-hour presale for tickets begins on May 16 at 10 a.m. local time, and the general public sale begins on May 18 at 10 a.m. local time.

Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show is presented by BBC Studios and Andrew Kay in association with Windmill Theatre Co. It originally premiered in Bluey’s hometown, Brisbane, and has gone on to perform 447 times across 65 venues, including the Sydney Opera House. The show features large Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Chilli puppets.

In Canada, Bluey is available on Disney Junior, Disney Channel, Disney+ and STACKTV.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show to Canadian audiences for the very first time,” said director Rosemary Myers of Windmill Theatre Co. “The response to the show from fans across the U.S. and Australia has been nothing short of amazing, and we can’t wait for Canadian families to experience all the fun and excitement of having Bluey and her family on stage live in their city.”
