BE@RBRICK, a new animated series for kids and families based on the BE@RBRICK figures from MEDICOM TOY, is set to debut on Apple TV+ on March 21.
Produced by DreamWorks Animation and Dentsu, the 13-episode show follows Jasmine Finch and her bandmates as they pursue their dreams in a world where everyone’s role is chosen for them, with the painted-on look they receive after high school determining who they’ll be for the rest of their lives.
The series features original songs from four-time Grammy-winning producer Timbaland, with an original score by Jina Hyojin An (XO, Kitty) and Shirley Song (Exploding Kittens).
The voice cast features Brianna Bryan, Skyla I’Lece, Isaiah Crews, Alison Jaye and Noah Bentley.
BE@RBRICK is developed by Meghan McCarthy (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Centaurworld), who also serves as showrunner, executive producer and writer. Alex Almaguer (TrollsTopia) is the supervising producer, with Taylor Orci (Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts) as story editor and Athena Hofmann (Amateur) as line producer.
