Apple TV+ has slated the global debut of the animated preschool series Not a Box for June 13.

Based on the book by best-selling author Antoinette Portis, the series sees the bunny Riley imagine magical worlds and fantastical adventures using a cardboard box.

Riley is voiced by Isabel Birch, and Ian James Cortlett (Dragon Ball Z) voices Adult.

Not a Box is written and co-executive produced by Emmy Award winner Michael Rabb. It is produced by Dete Meserve’s Silver Creek Falls Entertainment, with Meserve serving as executive producer. The animation is produced by Passion Pictures. Siri Melchior is the director.

Kate Robinson, director of the Sir Ken Robinson Foundation and daughter of Sir Ken Robinson, serves as the imagination and creativity expert on the series through Apple TV+’s changemakers initiative. Robinson co-authored her late father’s manifesto, “Imagine if… Creating a Future for Us All,” which celebrates the power of imagination to create and recreate the world.
