BBC Studios and Ludo Studio have released the first-ever Bluey Book Read in Korean, with actor Han Gain (Moon Embracing the Sun, Bad Guy) narrating.

Gain narrated “Baby Race,” in which Mum tells Bluey the story of how she first learned to walk, in Korean. She also narrated “Goodnight, Fruit Bat” in English, and both readings are available on the Korean Bluey YouTube channel.

In “Goodnight, Fruit Bat,” Bluey tries to dream about being a nocturnal fruit bat so she can stay up all night long.

The Bluey Book Reads are produced by the BBC Studios Digital Brands team. Gain’s Korean Bluey Book Read is the second to be read in a local language.

In Korea, Bluey airs on EBS, EBS Kids and EBS English, as well as Disney+.

Bluey is so special because it is a kids’ animation that both children and parents can fall in love with,” Gain said. “There are so many real and authentic parenting moments reflected in the series that have touched my heart, and this is what makes Bluey so charming and relatable.”

“We’ve seen such a brilliant response from Bluey fans to our book reads published so far and are delighted to be launching our first read in Korean, read by the fantastic Han Gain,” added Simon Clarke, director of digital for Bluey at BBC Studios.
