Animasia Studio Sends Chuck Chicken to Portugal

Malaysia’s Animasia Studio has licensed Chuck Chicken to the children’s television channel SIC K in Portugal.

Chuck Chicken, an action, comedy and adventure series for the 7-to-11-year-old set, follows Chuck as he provides Kung Fu-style protection for the citizens of Rocky Perch Island with the help of his powerful Golden Egg and pals Flick and Wing. The show premiered on Portugal’s SIC K channel on Monday, April 22. Animasia Studio’s Supa Strikas currently airs on the channel as well.

The first season of Chuck Chicken, which is shown in more than 50 countries, currently has 2 billion views on iQiyi in China, streams on Netflix and has been picked up by Apolo films to distribute across Europe. Season two of the children’s series is slated for release in late 2020.
