Animasia Studio has signed a deal with Adam Williams-Walters, creator of the preschool YouTube channel English Tree TV, which helps children learn English through catchy songs.

Animasia will increase the production value of the videos and songs created by Williams-Walters and will boost the volume of content to over 240 minutes per year. The company will also develop spin-off localized channels in Asia.

Williams-Walters began English Tree TV seven years ago. Currently based in Texas, he oversees song writing, music production, performing, recording, character design, story writing, storyboarding, animating, voice acting, key art, thumbnails, business development, sales and expansion, channel management and web design.

The YouTube channel has grown to over 1.7 million subscribers and earns over 4,000,000 views per day.

“I guess I never really imagined my songs would be listened to so many times around the world,” Williams-Walters said. “I was mostly trying to serve the 500 or so kids that I taught, and myself as a teacher, by creating music that was actually good—something adults could enjoy just as much as the children.”

“English Tree TV have tremendous growth potentials, as we can see the organic subscription growth happening every quarter,” said Edmund Chan, managing director of Animasia Studio. “Adam’s method of teaching English to the young kids via his songs is truly amazing, and combining Animasia’s animation expertise, I think this will be very captivating for our core audiences.”
