Alyson Hannigan On Board Disney’s Fancy Nancy Series

Alyson Hannigan (How I Met Your Mother) and Rob Riggle (Modern Family) have joined the voice cast of Fancy Nancy, a new animated comedy due to debut on Disney Junior this year.

Fancy Nancy centers on an endearing young girl with an advanced vocabulary and elaborate attire. The show is based on the best-selling books by Jane O’Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser. The voice cast also includes Mia Sinclair Jenness (Broadway’s Matilda) and newcomer Spencer Moss.

Fancy Nancy is slated to launch on Disney Junior and the new DisneyNOW app this summer. The series is geared toward young viewers between the ages of 2 and 7. It will be complemented by a variety of nonlinear extensions, including dolls, role-play items, accessories and apparel.
