Animotion Media Group Debuts Qumi-Qumi Album

Animotion Media Group has partnered with Toonbox Studio to launch the album Ooba Aba Nya, with songs from Qumi-Qumi, on music streaming platforms.

“We’re incredibly excited to introduce Qumi-Qumi to the music world,” said Oleg Troyanovsky, head of music at Animotion Media. “The show’s unique sound and style translate naturally into music that feels fresh, fun and genuinely global. Fans were asking for the music from the series for a long time, so we just had to deliver.”

“Qumi-Qumi is a celebration of the differences that bring us together—and now, with its vibrant music, we’re thrilled to see this colorful, quirky world reaching new audiences through our partnership with Animotion Media Group,” added Vladimir Plemiash Ponomarev, art director at Toonbox Studio.

The album features 11 tracks performed entirely in the show’s signature fictional language, including “Haba Haba Laka Laka.”
