Percy Jackson Series Leads 2025 Children’s & Family Emmy Wins

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has unveiled the winners of the third annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards, with Disney+’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians leading the pack with eight wins.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians won outstanding young teen series, in addition to awards for writing, directing, casting, music composition and more. Other top honors went to Nickelodeon’s Blue’s Clues & You!  for outstanding preschool series and Apple TV+’s Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock for outstanding children’s or family viewing series.

Nickelodeon’s The Tiny Chef Show won in the preschool animated category, and Disney+’s Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur was awarded in the children’s or young teen animated category.

The Velveteen Rabbit (Apple TV+) won for outstanding fiction special, while Orion and the Dark (Netflix) was awarded outstanding animated special.

Stand Up & Shout: Songs From a Philly High School (HBO/Max) received the award for outstanding nonfiction program.

For short-form programs, Sesame Workshop’s Elmo and Jesse Remember Uncle Jack won in the live-action category, and Disney+’s Once Upon a Studio won in the animated category.

In the performance categories, Christian Slater won outstanding lead performer in a preschool, children’s or young teen program for his role in The Spiderwick Chronicles (Roku Channel). Amanda Lawrence won the outstanding supporting performer award for her role in Malory Towers (BYUtv). The outstanding younger performer award went to Phoenix Laroche for The Velveteen Rabbit.

In the voice performer categories, winners were Kari Wahlgren (Disney Junior’s Superkitties) for preschool and Eric Bauza (Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans Go!) for children’s or young teen program. Jacob Tremblay received the award for outstanding younger voice performer in a preschool, children’s or young teen program for his role in Orion and the Dark.

Meryl Streep received the outstanding children’s personality award for Storyline Online. Leslie Carrara-Rudolph was awarded the outstanding puppetry performer prize for playing Abby Cadabby and Tango in Sesame Street.

The third annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards were presented across two ceremonies on March 15.
