MIPJunior Spotlight: Mattel

Mattel is presenting at MIPCOM the 23rd season of Thomas & Friends, which sees the classic tank engine visiting Italy and Brazil on his trips around the world.

Barbie Vlogger, meanwhile, sees the classic character and her friends share information about their lives and favorite things, and Enchantimals Tales of Everwilde—both seasons of which are available—follows as the titular characters and their animal best friends explore the fantastical land of Wonderworld.

Frederic Soulie, Mattel’s senior VP of content distribution and business development, says that right now is an “exciting time” to be in the kids’ content industry, “where strong, global, well-known brands and franchises are more than ever in high demand.”

He adds, “As an IP owner, content producer and distributor, it is an exciting time to be in the industry.”
