Amazing World of Gumball to Get Sixth Season

ATLANTA: Cartoon Network has given the go-ahead to a sixth season of the popular family sitcom The Amazing World of Gumball.

The Amazing World of Gumball follows the adventures of a fearless blue cat and his wacky family. The Emmy and BAFTA-winning mixed-media series combines live action with 2D and 3D animation. Season four is currently airing on Turner channels around the globe, with the fifth installment due to debut internationally in September and in North America next year.

The Amazing World of Gumball is created by Ben Bocquelet, executive produced by Sarah Fell and series-directed by Mic Graves. The show is produced in the U.K. and Germany by Cartoon Network Studios EMEA.
