Prime Video Greenlights Date Night

Prime Video has greenlit the new reality show Date Night (w.t.) for the U.K. and Ireland.

Narrated by Laura Whitmore, the series sees a group of singles take on dating apps from the comfort of their sofas with the input of their nearest and dearest. If they secure a match, they will meet for a unique date that will be filmed for their friends and family back home.

Date Night comes from Dragonfly Film & TV, a Banijay UK company.

Date Night is an innovative new format that will resonate with the millions of people who have been swiping left and right in the hope of finding love over the past decade,” said Richard Bond, managing director of Dragonfly Film & TV. “We have an absolutely brilliant group of people looking for love, and we’re crossing our fingers that Cupid’s arrow hits the target for some of our contributors.”
