Dori Media Group’s hit reality format Power Couple has scored deals for new seasons and a brand-new adaptation in various European territories.

RTL has acquired the rights to produce a fourth season of the Croatian adaptation, known locally as SuperPar, and recently debuted a sixth season of the Hungarian adaptation.

In Slovenia, a second season is set to return on POP TV in spring 2023, with 20 episodes of one hour each. Nova TV in Bulgaria is working on a fourth season of its adaptation, with 26 episodes of two hours each.

Antena will be bringing Power Couple to Romania for the first time, with a season one of 27 episodes of two hours each.

The reality competition format, created by Abot Hameiri, sees couples go through extreme challenges to test how well they really know each other.

Nadav Palti, CEO and president of Dori Media Group, said, “The latest commissions for new seasons of Power Couple in 2023 reflect the format’s ongoing ratings success and strong international appeal. The format’s longevity around the world is driven by its authenticity, as viewers follow the journey of each couple, creating a strong emotional connection. The current demand for content to resonate with a global audience has driven an increased demand for media localisation. We are proud to work with leading broadcasters to provide fresh, high-quality formats such as Power Couple for local audiences to enjoy”.
