Power Couple Scores TelevisaUnivision Adaptation

Dori Media Group has sold its format Power Couple to TelevisaUnivision for a 24/7, Spanish-language version that will debut across all of the broadcaster’s platforms in the U.S. and Mexico.

“We are thrilled that TelevisaUnivision is set to launch this exciting new 24/7 version of our hit series Power Couple across all its channels and ViX starting in January,” said Nadav Palti, Dori Media’s CEO. “This format has become a true global sensation, with local versions now in more than 20 territories worldwide and many additional sales expected in 2026.”

The new version, produced locally by Fremantle Mexico and known as ¿Apostarías por mí? (Would you bet on me?), will air Monday through Friday on Unimas, with Sunday Galas on Univision and Las Estrellas. It will broadcast 24/7 via ViX. It is set to make its debut on January 18.

The Power Couple format was originally created by Abot Hameiri.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to produce this multi-platform format, which will be available in both the U.S. and Mexico,” commented Johanna Helman, Fremantle’s head of production in Latin America. “Starting 2026 in partnership with TelevisaUnivision/ViX and based on a global success from Dori Media fills us with joy.”

Roee Strikovski, CEO of Abot Hameiri (Fremantle Israel), added, “The Power Couple universe continues to expand. Together with Fremantle Latin America, we’re creating a 24/7 version that preserves the heart and values of the original while evolving it into something even bigger. And this is just the beginning—another exciting variation of the format is already baking in the oven.”
