More Catchphrase Coming to ITV

LONDON: ITV has commissioned STV Productions to produce another season of the game show Catchphrase.

The new season includes eight 45-minute episodes plus two hour-long shows featuring celebrity contestants. The iconic show was revived with a brand-new series in April 2013, featuring a revamped set, 3D graphics and a dynamic new end game. Stephen Mulhern will once again host the hit game show.

Gary Chippington, head of entertainment at STV Productions, said: “The audience reaction to Catchphrase is stronger than ever and we are thrilled to be making another series for ITV. Viewers can look forward to some great new catchphrases to keep them ‘pressing and guessing’ as they play along at home.”
