New Britain’s Got Talent Spin-Off to Debut on ITVX

BGT Reacts, a new spin-off of ITV1’s Britain’s Got Talent, is slated to premiere exclusively on ITVX on April 20.

The new series’ 15-minute episodes will provide highlights of the new Britain’s Got Talent season through the eyes of some of the U.K.’s biggest content creators, who will share their thoughts and opinions on the acts auditioning on the big stage. Episodes will drop each week right after the transmission of the main show on ITV1.

BGT Reacts is a celebration of the reaction style of video that has found success across social media. In addition to the content creators, notable acts from former Britain’s Got Talent seasons and a few surprise celebrities will make appearances.

The 17th season of Britain’s Got Talent, judged by Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli, is set to premiere on April 20 on ITV1. The ultimate winner, decided by the British public, will win a £250,000 ($314,000) cash prize and a spot on the bill on the Royal Variety Performance.

BGT Reacts is being produced by Thames, a Fremantle label, which is also behind Britain’s Got Talent.
