LOS ANGELES: Entertainment One (eOne) has teamed up with Keller/Noll and Hasbro Studios for the new game show Boggle Battle, based on the classic game.

Show creators Cleve Keller and Dave Noll (Chopped, Winsanity!) reinvented the classic Hasbro game Boggle, combining its inventive gameplay with pop-culture topics to create a fast-paced television experience. Boggle Battle puts contestants’ pop-culture knowledge to the test, as three teams of three face off in elimination rounds with categories ranging from Harry Potter to Marvel to Game of Thrones or the NBA.

The series also features play-along moments for viewers at home. Each episode builds toward one team moving on to play a final round of Super Boggle, and a chance to win big prizes.

“With impressive visuals, new categories and the clock always counting down, Boggle Battle will add a new level of hilarity and excitement to the game show world,” said Keller and Noll. “Viewers and contestants alike will be stumbling over each other to shout out creative answers while trying to beat the clock.”

“The Boggle game has always been a crowd favorite, and Cleve and Dave have a found an innovative and engaging way to bring the addictive game to television,” said Tara Long, the executive VP of alternative programming at eOne Television. “The unique, fast-paced gameplay will appeal to audiences in the U.S. and around the world.”
