The musical talent show Prodigies, originally created by Endemol Shine France, is headed to Spain with a local adaptation.

Prodigies has had five seasons and two specials in France (France 2), and the format has traveled to Italy (Rai 1) and Albania (TV Klan). It arrives this season in Spain on public broadcaster TVE and will be produced by Shine Iberia, part of Endemol Shine Iberia.

The talent search is focused on three categories—song, dance and instrumental—covering all disciplines of traditional arts. It presents the capabilities in kids 7 to 15 years old while rediscovering the greatest tracks of classical music interpreted by young artists.

The Spanish version, Prodigios, will feature as an expert jury choreographer and former dancer Nacho Duato, opera singer Ainhoa Arteta and orchestra director Andrés Salado. Boris Izaguirre will be hosting the galas, and Paula Prendes will accompany the kids and their families during rehearsals and backstage.
