Dancing with the Stars Lands in Hungary

BBC Studios has signed its first format deal for Dancing with the Stars in Hungary, where it will air on TV2.

The show has been commissioned for ten episodes, to launch this fall. The agreement with TV2 marks the 59th local production of the multi-award-winning format.

Andre Renaud, senior VP of global format sales for BBC Studios, said: “I am delighted that Dancing with the Stars will be seen for the first time by viewers in my mother’s home nation of Hungary. We’re looking forward to working closely with TV2 to bring the Hungarian spirit to the format and I look forward to watching when it launches in the autumn.”
