BOOM! Sees Recommissions & New Sales

Keshet International has clinched a raft of deals on its game-show format BOOM!, including both recommissions and new sales.

Having recently launched in the Philippines as a live stripped segment in GMA Networks’ hit variety series Eat Bulaga!, BOOM! Philippines has been ordered for an additional 78 episodes via Television and Production Exponents (TAPE) to launch in 2019. GMA is the first local partner to broadcast BOOM! live to date.

In Spain, Antena 3 is going for a fifth season. BOOM! Spain recently celebrated its 1,000th episode on-air.

In Italy, Nove has recommissioned the format for a third season from Endemol Italy. The order will take it to more than 400 episodes aired in the territory.

BOOM! has been licensed for the first time in Vietnam, where Aqua Blue will produce the format for VTV under the local title QUẢ CẦU BÍ ẨN (The Mysterious Ball). Shooting is slated to begin later this month, with a series premiere in March.

An option deal is in place with Endemol Shine in Portugal. The Spanish-speaking finished program of BOOM! Mexico was sold to Bolivia’s Red Uno.
