Turner Latin America has signed on to represent seven formats from ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) in six markets in the region.

The agreement covers Alphabet Game, Hell’s Kitchen, Come Dine With Me, The Chase, The Audience, Brightest Family and The Rich List in Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay and Peru. Additionally, Turner Latin America will be the exclusive production partner for the shows for both Turner-owned networks and third parties.

Alphabet Game (Pasapalabra), which has been formatted in nine markets worldwide, has already been sold to Canal 10 in Uruguay. In the region, the format has been made in Argentina (by Turner for El Trece) and Chile (Chilevisión).

“In light of the success experienced in Argentina and Chile, we are confident that Alphabet Game has the potential to reach the whole region,” said Richi Pichetto, VP of content production at Turner Latin America. “And we have the know-how to make it happen. We are proud to be entrusted by ITV with their formats in Latin America. This alliance will enable us to continue to strengthen our comprehensive production division, for our own brands and for third parties.”

Pascal Dalton, VP of global formats at ITV Studios Global Entertainment, added, “We are thrilled to be further delivering on ITVS GE’s global formats strategy by partnering with the strongest regional producers outside of our own production network. Turner has previously produced successful local versions of ITV’s formats in Latin America, so it made sense to springboard and formalize our collaboration on a bigger scale. It’s a very exciting way to kick off the new year.”
