Armoza Formats has licensed the prime-time singing competition The Four into Colombia with Canal 1.

The local adaptation will begin airing daily in prime time in early March 2019. It is set to air live under the title The Four: Los Cuatro Finalistas.

The deal comes hot on the heels of The Four being picked up in Spain by Warner Bros. International TV Production Spain and in Portugal by SP Entertainment.

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, said: “This deal marks an important expansion for The Four in Latin America. It began to make a home in LatAm with the Peruvian adaptation which has now had four hit seasons on Latina TV. We are sure that the show will have the same success with Colombian audiences, in particular, because it will also air live, enabling a deeper connection between the viewers and the show and allowing for more real-time interactions.”
