Newen Connect has appointed Andrew Sime, who previously held roles at Banijay Rights and Global Agency, as head of format sales.
Sime will be working closely with Newen’s production companies, including Tuvalu, De Mensen and Izen, and also its broadcaster partner/shareholder TF1 to maximize international potential and exploitation of unscripted formats. He will be responsible for selling all Newen Connect’s factual-entertainment and entertainment formats globally.
In addition, he will work with Newen’s existing sales team to develop its scripted format sales strategy to monetize new and existing IP. Sime is reporting to Leona Connell, executive VP of distribution.
