The Story Lab has signed a cross-platform deal for youngest Media’s hit format Game of Clones in Brazil.

Free-to-air network RecordTV and Amazon Prime Video have jointly commissioned a local version of the dating show, which will run concurrently on both platforms in Brazil. The show will also be available to Portuguese-speaking audiences in over 100 countries on RecordTV International.

The local version will be made in partnership with Endemol Shine Brazil. The ten-part series is now in production in São Paulo, ahead of its launch this October in a weekly prime-time slot.

Michael Iskas, The Story Lab’s global president, commented: “This deal partners market leaders in broadcasting, streaming and content creation to bring the groundbreaking Game of Clones format to screens in Brazil and Portuguese speaking viewers around the world. This is a further example of The Story Lab building alliances with key content partners on the ground as we continue to expand our business in major markets around the world.”

Lucas Church, co-founder of youngest Media, commented: “As Game of Clones continues to clone its success around the world, we are excited to launch this latest version in partnership with The Story Lab, Endemol Shine Brazil, RecordTV and Amazon. The show’s unique twists, humor and jeopardy have proven irresistible to viewers in every market it has traveled to so far, and we can’t wait to see that replicated once again!”
