Two New Formats for all3media International

There are two new formats in the all3media International catalog, Sneakers and Selfie, which are being launched at MIPTV.

Sneakers comes from Belgium’s Biff Tannen Productions and Butterfish TV. Originally produced for Plug RTL in Belgium, the half-hour factual-entertainment format sees deserving members of the public being nominated by friends or family for a sneaker transformation. In each episode, the talented team of designers at Sneakers HQ transforms ordinary footwear into bespoke works of art and take on the challenge of upgrading a celebrity’s pair of sneakers.

Jimmy Bilbaum, the president at Butterfish TV, said, “Sneakers is an incredible, trendy and entertaining show. When Alexis Papageorgiou (the creator) from Biff Tannen Productions introduced me to the idea, it seemed clear that it needed a great partner to go international. We are so delighted to have all3media International representing the format and helping us to reach a wider audience—as it says in the show, all3media International will ‘customize our dream!’”

Developed by Israel’s Createit Studio, the half-hour format Selfie is a street game show for the smartphone age. Two teams go head to head using their ingenuity and creativity to solve trivia questions by taking a photo. One member of the team is sent out, armed with only a smartphone, and within seconds they are texted a question. They must first work out the answer and then take a selfie that will help their team back at the base, who haven’t seen the question, guess the answer.
