Sort Your Life Out Lands Belgian Adaptation

All3Media International has signed a format deal in Flemish Belgium with VRT for an adaptation of Sort Your Life Out.

“At All3Media Belgium, we’re thrilled to be bringing Sort Your Life Out to VRT, a public broadcaster known for its commitment to quality, authenticity and meaningful storytelling,” said David Ottenburgh, managing director of All3Media Belgium. “The global success of this format has reassured us that its emotional depth and practical inspiration will resonate strongly with Flemish audiences. This adaptation is a wonderful opportunity to build a returning brand that truly supports families and inspires audiences. We’re proud to contribute to a series that is both heartwarming and genuinely transformative.”

Originally created by Optomen Television for BBC One in the U.K., the format sees the entire content of a family’s home laid out before them to help them decide what to keep and what to throw away. The series tackles the challenges of letting go of possessions, maximizing space and creating practical, organized living areas.

This new commission brings the total number of versions to 12. It has also been adapted in Norway on TV2, the Netherlands on SBS6, France on TF1, Denmark on TV2, Finland on MTV Oy and Germany on RTL, among others.

“As Sort Your Life Out continues to win fans, awards and commissions around the world, we’re delighted to confirm that audiences in Flemish Belgium are about to discover the transformational joy of decluttering on VRT,” said Stephen Driscoll, executive VP for EMEA at All3Media International. “This heartwarming format delivers so much for viewers, immersing them in the often emotional stories of the families that feature, while also offering ingenious expert tips throughout. Showing us all how we can bring a sense of calm to the chaos of family life, the Sort Your Life Out format is perfect for broadcasters looking to create feel-good, relatable and cost-effective content that puts the spotlight on sustainability, organization, home renovation, upcycling and recycling.”
