ITV Commissions More The 1% Club

ITV has ordered two additional seasons of the entertainment quiz show The 1% Club.

The third season of The 1% Club is currently on air on Saturday nights on ITV1. The show will return for fourth and fifth runs, with each new season also including a Christmas special.

The 1% Club on ITV is presented by comedian Lee Mack and produced by Magnum Media. The format, licensed by BBC Studios, has been sold to ten territories.

Satmohan Panesar, ITV’s factual entertainment commissioning editor, and Sue Murphy, head of factual entertainment, commented: “For a show that requires brains… the decision to recommission this multi-award-winning, ratings-busting juggernaut, presented by one of Britain’s funniest and most engaging comedians, was actually a no-brainer.”

Dean Nabarro, creator and executive producer, added: “We couldn’t be happier that ITV is commissioning two more series in one go. It’s like getting the 1% question right and still having your Pass.”
