Barcroft Bolsters Production & Development Teams

LONDON: Barcroft Productions has appointed Paul Woolf as head of development and Alison Seymour as head of production, following Channel 4’s recent investment in the company via its Growth Fund.

Both Woolf and Seymour are stepping into newly created roles. Woolf’s television production credits include co-developing Operation Ouch! for CBBC and serving as executive producer on Growing Up Down’s. He also created Old School with the Hairy Bikers, among other accomplishments. He most recently served as director of development at Maverick Television.

Seymour joins Barcroft Productions following her time as production executive at Zinc Media (formerly Ten Alps). She has worked on projects for a range of broadcasters across all types of productions and genres.

Woolf commented: “Barcroft has unmatched assets in terms of its journalists and access to amazing, inspiring stories. I’m delighted to be joining such a forward-looking company and can’t wait to help the team create even more brilliant shows and series using those resources.”
