ProSiebenSat.1 Merges Online Games Business into Gamigo

HAMBURG/MUNICH: ProSiebenSat.1 group is merging its 100-percent holding in Aeria Games Europe into Gamigo and will become a minority shareholder in the merged publisher, with a 33-percent stake.

ProSiebenSat.1 acquired Aeria Games Europe in February 2014. The joint company has a reach of more than 100 million gamers, marketing its games in 40-plus countries, with a focus on Europe and North America. The company touts a number of popular games titles in the online segment, including Echo of Soul, Fiesta Online, Aura Kingdom and Desert Operations, as well as the mobile segment, including Goal 1 and Dawn of Gods. There are also various new games in the pipeline, including Diddl and Bless, for the coming years.
