Turner Broadcasting Sells Off NonStop Entertainment

STOCKHOLM: Jakob Abrahamsson and CG Anderson have purchased NonStop Entertainment from Turner Broadcasting.

Abrahamsson was previously the director of distribution and acquisitions at NonStop Entertainment. He will now serve as CEO of the company. He commented of the acquisition: “We’ve had a great run under the Turner umbrella with some of our biggest successes, and we appreciate their efforts in making the company leaner and sharper. We are now looking forward to sailing the independent seas again.”

Ian McDonough, Turner Broadcasting’s senior VP and managing director for Northern Europe, added: “We leave NonStop Entertainment as a business in great shape, while we at Turner focus on our core strengths. We wish Jakob and the team all the best with the future of the company.”
