Henrik Ravn Returns to ProSiebenSat.1 in German-Language TV Role

MUNICH: Henrik Ravn has been named chief operating officer and chief commercial officer for ProSiebenSat.1 Media's broadcasting German-speaking segment.

In addition to coordinating development questions in the core business of free TV, Ravn will promote new pay and distribution initiatives. Alongside the free-TV stations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and their marketing, the broadcasting German-speaking segment also includes the business of distributing the group's HD and pay-TV stations.

Ravn will report to CEO Thomas Ebeling. As CEO, Ravn already managed the Northern European business of ProSiebenSat.1 from 2009 to 2013. He recently served as president and managing director for Nordic at SBS Discovery Media. Ravn previously worked as CEO at SBS TV Denmark for several years.
