Keshet Productions UK Names Head of Nonscripted Development

LONDON: Simon Shalgosky is joining Keshet Productions UK's recently expanded nonscripted team as head of development as part of the company's efforts to develop original projects in the U.K. while also repping formats from Israel.

Before this appointment, Shalgosky served as head of development at ITV Studios' Shiver, where he helped develop a variety of entertainment, factual and factual-entertainment shows.

From 2006 to 2014, Shalgosky held development positions at ITV, where he and his team are credited with such shows as Britain's Best Dish, Come Date with Me, Secrets from the Sky and The Men with Many Wives.

Sammy Nourmand, the COO of Keshet UK, commented: "Simon's appointment underlines Keshet's continued commitment to grow its U.K. production arm. His versatility and passion for great television made Simon the ideal candidate for this role. We're delighted to welcome him to the team."
