TV4 Group Names Head of Digital Programs

STOCKHOLM: In ramping up its focus on digital, Sweden's TV4 Group has tapped Anna Rastner for the role of head of digital programs.

Rastner is currently the head of editorial business development at Mittmedia. She will now take on responsibility for the enhancement and development of TV4 Group's television provision on all digital platforms. She will extend the work related to TV4 Group's program rights and talent, identifying new ways for content to reach consumers. This includes developing new programs and concepts directly for digital platforms like TV4 Play and YouTube. Rastner will be reporting to Åsa Sjöberg, the director of content.

She takes up the role in November.

Rastner said: "The television industry is currently undergoing the same digital transformation that has been a reality for many other media and sectors for a number of years. TV4 has an incredibly strong brand, fantastic content and enormous expertise among its employees. These provide excellent prospects for driving a digital shift of the business."
