CBS Chello Zone Channels Increase Footprint in Poland

LONDON: CBS Chello Zone has firmed up an agreement with the Polish DTH platform nc+, formed through the merger of Cyfra+ and n, for carriage of several channels from its portfolio.

The deal is for the Universe+ Package, which includes CBS Drama, CBS Reality and CBS Action, being made available to an additional million subscribers. It also encompasses the movie channel CBS Europa, which launches for the first time with the TV provider. Its launch gives Polish viewers access to titles from the CBS Studios International catalogue such as Judge Judy, Star Trek and Dynasty.

Since launching in December 2012, the CBS Chello Zone EMEA Channels have expanded throughout Europe, along with two new feeds of CBS Action and CBS Drama across Africa. Now, including the nc+ carriage in Poland, more than 11 million additional subscribers can access a CBS Chello Zone Channel in EMEA.”
