ITVS GE Signs Content Deal with NRK

LONDON: ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) has sold a package of 317 hours of drama and factual-entertainment programming to the Norwegian broadcaster NRK.

The deal includes the renowned crime franchises Vera seasons three and four, Agatha Christie's Marple season six and the 13th and final season of Agatha Christie's Poirot. Also featured among the titles is a wealth of factual-entertainment content, including The Garden's Inside Claridges and Baby Makers: The Fertility Clinic.

David Wilcox, the VP for Northwest EMEA at ITV Studios Global Entertainment, said: “The number of hours acquired by NRK is testament to the quality and breadth of ITVS GE’s portfolio. Our crime drama franchises in particular are hugely popular across Scandinavia, outperforming U.S. network drama, and we’re delighted that NRK’s viewers will be able to continue to enjoy the adventures of their favorite TV detectives.”
