LONDON: A+E Networks UK, a collaboration between A+E Networks and BSkyB, has named Caroline Casey to the newly created post of director of digital media.
Reporting to marketing communications VP Anna Priest, Casey will be charged with overseeing all of the digital assets and associated brands of the company throughout the U.K., Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa. She will be expected to implement a 360-degree integrated digital media strategy across online, mobile, connected TV and social media for HISTORY, H2, Crime & Investigation Network and BIO. She will also manage the content and product development for several websites and social media networks, as well as all digital media marketing and advertising.
In the past, Casey established and led a strategic consultancy company called CC Digital, where she guided businesses on digital strategies and trends. She has also worked as an executive director at TurnOut Ventures and as Turner Broadcasting’s director of digital development for EMEA.
