Eccho Rights Lines Up New Broadcasters for Raft of Series

STOCKHOLM: Eccho Rights has reported a range of agreements that it has signed for titles such as the Turkish drama Karadayi and the format Jobs without Frontiers.

The Sputnik format Jobs without Frontiers launched in Belgium in November. It has since sold to SVT in Sweden, Zebra in Spain, Newen in France, Susamuru in Finland and Elephant in Italy.

Eccho Rights is also presenting buyers with the Turkish drama Karadayi from Ay Yapim. The series has been sold into a number of countries, with a slew of negotiations ongoing. The series had had 14 episodes air on ATV in Turkey.

Cover Me Canada was licensed for a Chinese version by Enlight Entertainment. The rights were also sold to Spain’s Zebra Productions. The format originally aired on CBC and was produced by 11 Television.

Lady Burlesque is ready to debut with a local version in Ukraine on Inter TV. The series is already a ratings hit on Sky Uno in Italy, from producers Europroduzione.

The Turkish drama series The End, also from Ay Yapim recently debuted in Sweden to much success. SVT is airing five episodes per week for ten weeks in prime time.
