Tower Productions Appoints New Managing Director

Tower Productions, an All3Media Deutschland company, has appointed Kirstin Benthaus-Gebauer as its new managing director.

“I am very pleased about my new home at Tower Productions and am looking forward to joining the team,” said Benthaus-Gebauer. “Tower is already very well positioned—a premium label in the market, with an excellent format catalog that is continuously growing. And, of course, we want to contribute to this from Germany. Thinking globally and acting locally very much applies to our business.”

Joining at the beginning of April, Benthaus-Gebauer most recently served as Imago TV Film’s creative director. She previously worked as chief executive producer at Storyhouse for reality, people and factual entertainment.

Tower produces such formats in Germany as Undercover Boss (RTL) and Das Große Backen (SAT.1), as well as documentaries Unforgettable—Our Choir for People with Dementia (ZDF) and Me, Simply Unemployable? (VOX). The company also has exclusive access to All3Media International’s format catalog.
