NENT Group & Viaplay Acquire Football for the Baltics

Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group) has secured a comprehensive package of international top-tier football for its Viaplay streaming service in the Baltic countries.

The package includes all English Cup football and the English Championship, as well as the South American national team football, including all matches with Brazil and Argentina. NENT Group will launch Viaplay in the Baltics on March 9 as the next step in its global expansion. NENT Group’s acquisition of the English Cup tournaments and South American National Team football follows the recent announcement of exclusive rights to the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League.
