Fremantle Nordics has hired Linn Wredström, formerly at Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group), as its new head of legal and business affairs, covering all of the Nordic businesses.

At the NENT Group, Wredström led the legal and business affairs department at Viaplay Studios and was part of the management team. Prior to that, she gained over 15 years of legal experience from law firms and in-house legal and business affairs teams for various businesses in Sweden and internationally.

In her new role at Fremantle, she will report to Matthew Wilson, general counsel. She will take on the new role in early July.

“With a wealth of experience in leading complex transactions and providing practical legal and business affairs advice in the media and entertainment sector in both Sweden, Australia and the U.S., Linn has a unique insight into the commercial, legal and technology drivers shaping the future of the industry that we will benefit from,” Wilson said. “We can’t wait to welcome her to the Fremantle family.”

Wredström said, “It’s a very exciting time to be joining Fremantle, as it continues to scale its impressive business in the Nordics. I’m beyond thrilled to be joining the Fremantle team and having the opportunity to contribute to Fremantle’s future and continued growth and success in the region.”
