Pluto TV, BBC Studios Ink Channels Deal

Pluto TV has sealed a deal with BBC Studios to bring three new channels to its service in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France and Spain, including a dedicated Doctor Who channel.

The Doctor Who channel in France includes the first ten seasons of the show, while in Spain the channel will offer the first nine seasons. The channel will also showcase the show’s Christmas specials. In Germany, Switzerland and Austria, the channel will showcase classic Doctor Who episodes that originally aired between 1980 and 1990. Pluto TV will also deliver a new BBC Travel channel in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

In all five markets, Pluto TV is also delivering a new BBC Drama channel delivering series such as Call The Midwife, War and Peace, Great Expectations and The Musketeers.
